North East Lincolnshire Council is urging the public to come forward with information to help identify individuals caught fly-tipping on CCTV in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Incidents were recorded on Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes, near Blundell Park, and two separate events occurred on Patrick Street, Grimsby, near the underpass beneath Peaks Parkway.
The first CCTV footage shows an individual in a striped long-sleeved t-shirt and black trousers leaving a cardboard box against a railing on Grimsby Road on Sunday, 27th September, at 10:27pm. The second incident on Patrick Street, captured on Monday, 26th October, at 9:09am, shows someone leaving a child's slide against railings near the underpass. A third footage shows two people dumping a sofa on Patrick Street.
The Council is continuing its investigations and is appealing for any further information regarding these incidents. Anyone who recognises the individuals in the footage is asked to call 01472 326299 (Option 1) or email communityprotection@nelincs.gov.uk, quoting reference numbers PR202610-56955 (Grimsby Road), PR202610-57356 (slide), and PR202610-57461 (sofa).
Fly-tipping, the illegal dumping of waste, poses a significant threat to people, wildlife, the environment, and the local economy. It can range from a single bag of waste to thousands of tonnes of construction debris. The Council spends tens of thousands of pounds annually clearing up fly-tipped waste and takes legal action against offenders.
The public can help prevent fly-tipping by reporting incidents online via the Council website, ensuring waste carriers are registered, and utilising the Community Recycling Centre (CRC) for large amounts of waste.
