Ms Veena Kaul, Consultant Gynaecologist and Menopause Specialist at the Trust, is the face of the national campaign, offering expert advice on menopause symptoms and available support. The initiative seeks to encourage open conversations about menopause, a life stage that significantly impacts women's physical and emotional wellbeing.
Ms Kaul's involvement highlights her expertise and the Trust's commitment to improving women's health. She stated, "Menopause affects every woman differently, but no one should feel they have to navigate it alone. By talking openly about menopause and understanding the support available, we can help more women access the advice and treatment they need to live well during this stage of life."
The national campaign complements the 'MY Menopause' programme offered by the Trust, which provides education, advice, and practical support for managing menopause. The Trust expressed pride in seeing one of its specialists represent the NHS nationally.
