North East Lincolnshire Council is hosting its annual Corporate and Community Parenting Fortnight from 26th October, offering a range of activities and support for children in care and care leavers.
The Corporate and Community Parenting Fortnight is returning this year with an expanded programme aimed at supporting children and young people in care, as well as those who have previously been in care, across North East Lincolnshire. This initiative underscores the Council’s responsibility to provide support and opportunities, ensuring these individuals feel safe, valued, and inspired.
Running for two weeks from 26th October, the fortnight will feature a variety of events designed to bring the care-experienced community together. The programme aims to raise awareness about available support and encourage broader community involvement. Activities will range from arts and crafts sessions to award evenings, with a strong focus on listening to the needs and priorities of children and young people.
